Jakarta, FU Online News — The Faculty of Ushuluddin (FU), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, actively participated in the 3XPOSE UIN Jakarta 2026 event held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Harun Nasution Auditorium. The event served as an introduction to the university for final-year students of SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent institutions who plan to pursue higher education.
Through its participation, the Faculty of Ushuluddin presented an Information Corner as a space for academic dialogue and consultation for prospective students. Faculty members and students introduced the undergraduate (S1) and master’s (S2) programs while highlighting the distinctive characteristics of Ushuluddin’s Islamic studies, including Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir, Hadith Studies, Islamic Theology and Philosophy, Sufism, and Religious Studies.
The Faculty’s involvement in 3XPOSE 2026 went beyond providing academic information, creating an interactive and inspiring atmosphere. Visitors gained direct insight into the academic environment, research traditions, personal development opportunities, and career prospects for Ushuluddin graduates in various fields, including academia, research, religious analysis, and public and socio-religious sectors.
The enthusiasm of participants was evident from the steady flow of visitors to the Faculty of Ushuluddin booth throughout the event. Many students actively engaged in discussions and inquired about study programs, academic systems, scholarship opportunities, and career pathways. Their interest was particularly drawn to Ushuluddin’s distinctive approach to Islamic scholarship—deep, critical, and contextual.
The Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, M.A., Ph.D., stated that participation in 3XPOSE reflects the Faculty’s commitment to promoting a tradition of Islamic scholarship that is moderate, inclusive, and responsive to contemporary challenges.
“The Faculty of Ushuluddin strives to prepare Muslim intellectuals who possess spiritual depth, broad insight, and academic resilience. Through this event, we hope students can gain a closer understanding of an open and contextual Islamic intellectual tradition,” he remarked.
