The Faculty of Ushuluddin Holds the 140th Graduation Judiciary and Farewell Ceremony

Jakarta, FU Online News – The Faculty of Ushuluddin at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the 140th Graduation Judiciary and Farewell Ceremony on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. WIB at the 4th Floor Theater Room of the Faculty of Ushuluddin. The event was attended by the faculty leadership, heads of study programs, secretaries of study programs, educational staff, as well as prospective graduates.

A total of 100 students participated in the judiciary procession, representing six study programs within the Faculty of Ushuluddin: 15 students from the Religious Studies Program, 10 students from Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy, 33 students from Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir, 19 students from Hadith Studies, 15 students from Sufism Studies, and 8 students from the Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Ushuluddin presented awards to the best academic graduates from each study program. The awards were given to Wildan Ali Chasan from the Religious Studies Program with a GPA of 3.79, M. Hakim Muhyiddin from Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy with a GPA of 3.82, Anandhia Claudy Thasya from Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir with a GPA of 3.97, Fadil Mohamad from Hadith Studies with a GPA of 3.79, and Shinta Atiyah Maula from Sufism Studies with a GPA of 3.98. All award recipients earned the distinction of Cum Laude.

In addition to academic awards, the faculty also recognized graduates with non-academic achievements for their accomplishments and contributions in various competitions and activities at local, national, and international levels. The award recipients included Aida Samrotul Puadah, Ahmad Nelson, Alfan Rivera, Anandhia Claudy Thasya, Aulia Raudhatul Jannah, M. Ibnu Maidanu, Muswita, Nada Nur Afifah, Salsabilla Safitri, Syifa Fauziah Umami, and Uslifatul Jannah.

The judiciary ceremony took place solemnly and with great pride. This moment marked the end of the students’ academic journey as well as the beginning of their dedication and service to society. The faculty expressed its hope that the graduates would uphold the good name of their alma mater and continue to develop their knowledge and social contributions in various fields.

The event concluded with remarks from alumni representative Ayu Alfiah Jonas, a writer and editor. In her message, she encouraged the graduates to maintain the habit of reading as an essential part of developing insight and clarity of thought.

Be consistent in reading books, because reading helps preserve the clarity of our thinking. Reading is the simplest form of political action. We must continuously strengthen our self-motivation through reading,” she stated before the judiciary participants.

Through this event, the Faculty of Ushuluddin reaffirmed its commitment to producing graduates who excel academically, actively achieve in non-academic fields, and possess a strong spirit of literacy and intellectual contribution to society.
