The 139th Yudisium of the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Jakarta Emphasizes Reflection and Graduate Resilience
Jakarta, FU Online News — The Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held the 139th Yudisium and Graduation Farewell Ceremony on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the H.A.R. Partosentono Theater Room. The event was attended by 64 students from various undergraduate and master’s study programs who had officially been declared graduates.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, representatives of IKALFU (Alumni Association of the Faculty of Ushuluddin), as well as the yudisium participants. The atmosphere was solemn, filled with gratitude and pride for the academic achievements of the graduates.
In his address, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, M.A., Ph.D., delivered an academic message by linking the students’ educational process to the Redcar Theory. This theory emphasizes the importance of self-reflection, intellectual resilience, and graduates’ readiness to face the dynamics of social and professional life. Prof. Ismatu Ropi also stressed that graduates of the Faculty of Ushuluddin are expected not only to excel academically but also to possess social sensitivity, a moderate attitude, and critical thinking skills as provisions for contributing to society.
The next address was delivered by the best graduate, Putri Puspita Sari, from the Study Program of Sufism Studies. In her speech, she expressed her deepest gratitude to the Faculty of Ushuluddin, especially to the lecturers and educational staff, for their knowledge, guidance, and assistance throughout her period of study. She also invited all graduates to maintain their spirit, dare to take steps forward, and shine wherever they are, while always carrying and upholding the good name of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, in every role they undertake.
Meanwhile, the representative of IKALFU, Dr. Ala’i Nadjib, M.A., conveyed that the Faculty of Ushuluddin has produced many alumni who have succeeded and served in various strategic fields, such as Minister of Forestry, Minister of Religious Affairs, Chair of Bawaslu, special staff members, influencers, ustaz, and other national public figures. He emphasized that graduates need not feel confused about what they will become in the future, because the scholarly foundation of Ushuluddin enables them to become anything. He also encouraged graduates to maintain their spirit, integrity, and scholarly values, and to continue building connections with their alma mater through IKALFU.
The yudisium participants came from various study programs: Comparative Religion Studies (12 students), Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy (7 students), Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir (13 students), Sufism Studies (10 students), and Hadith Studies (15 students). In addition, there were participants from the master’s programs, namely the Master’s Program in Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy (3 students) and the Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir (4 students).
On this occasion, the best graduates from each study program were also announced:
- Tazkia Amalia, Comparative Religion Studies Program, GPA 3.81 (Cumlaude)
- Rizqi Shohibul Khotami, Hadith Studies Program, GPA 3.71 (Cumlaude)
- Avisena, Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy Program, GPA 3.73 (Cumlaude)
- Putri Puspita Sari, Sufism Studies Program, GPA 3.84 (Cumlaude)
- Fadhilah Mursyid, Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir Program, GPA 3.76 (Cumlaude)
Through this yudisium and graduation farewell ceremony, the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, hopes that its graduates will be able to implement the knowledge they have acquired, uphold Islamic and scholarly values, and continue to bring honor to their alma mater at both national and global levels.
