Jakarta, FU Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, through the Faculty of Ushuluddin, held the contract signing for the construction of a new Ushuluddin Faculty building on Tuesday, April 8, 2026, at the Main Senate Room of the Rectorate at 1:30 PM (WIB).

The event was attended by the Rector, Asep Saepudin Jahar, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Ismatu Ropi, the Head of SPI, Vice Deans of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Head of Bureau AUK, Head of Bureau PK, Head of General Affairs, Head of Academic Affairs, Head of Administration of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Head of PBJ and BMN Subdivision, Planning Team Leader, Finance Team Leader, procurement officials, and Barjas Admin.

In his remarks, the Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., emphasized the importance of ensuring that the construction is carried out on time, with sufficient workforce, and in accordance with the specified standards.

“We emphasize that this construction must be completed on time, with adequate manpower, and in strict adherence to the specifications to ensure quality,” he stated.

The Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, M.A., Ph.D., expressed his hope that the building will have a strong and durable structure and effectively support academic activities.

“We hope this building will become a strong, representative facility that supports academic development within the Faculty of Ushuluddin,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Commitment Making Officer (PPK), Arief Arianto Aryadi, conveyed his commitment to ensuring that the entire construction process runs in accordance with applicable regulations.

The Director of PT Mega Bintang Abadi, Sumardi, as the contractor, affirmed his team’s readiness to complete the project professionally and on schedule.

Meanwhile, a representative of the construction management from PT Dayacipta Dianracana, Akhmad, stated that supervision will be carried out optimally to ensure construction quality and safety.

The new Ushuluddin Faculty building will be located on Jl. Kertamukti, Cireundeu, Ciputat Timur District, South Tangerang City, Banten, with a construction period of 275 calendar days starting from the contract signing. The building will stand on a land area of 2.889,7 m² with a total building area of 4.554 m², designed to optimally support academic and administrative activities.

The scope of work includes preparatory works, implementation of Construction Safety Management System (SMKK), structural works, architectural works, interior works, electrical works, mechanical works, and landscaping.

This construction is expected not only to provide a representative physical facility but also to serve as a strategic step in strengthening the quality of education, research, and academic services at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, while supporting UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta’s vision as a globally competitive university.
