Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir of the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Jakarta Undergoes BAN-PT Field Assessment

 

Jakarta, FU Online News – The Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, conducted an Accreditation Field Assessment held on 17–19 May 2026 in the 4th Floor Meeting Room of the Faculty of Ushuluddin. The activity was part of the academic quality evaluation process carried out by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) to ensure the quality of higher education implementation in accordance with national standards.

The Field Assessment involved two BAN-PT assessors, Prof. Dr. H. Yusuf Baihaqi and Dr. A. Hasan Asy'ari Ulama'i. Both assessors evaluated various aspects of the study program administration, including governance, curriculum, human resources, academic outcomes, and learning support facilities and infrastructure.

The assessment activity was also attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, as well as faculty leaders and related units within UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

Also present were the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Eva Nugraha, the Vice Dean for General Administration, Dr. Lilik Ummi Kaltsum, and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Dr. Aktobi Ghozali. The event was also attended by the Head of the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM), Prof. Dr. Khamami Zada, the Head of the Career Center, Muhammad Kholis Hamdy, and the Head of Administrative Affairs, Farida Andriani.

From the study program representatives, the activity was attended by the Head of the Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir, Dr. Ahmad Fudhaili, along with the Secretary of the Study Program, Dr. Humaidi. Also present were the Head of the Hadith Studies Program, Dr. Sandi Santosa, and the Head of the Tasawuf Studies Program, Dr. Hasani, as a form of support for the assessment process.

In its remarks, the faculty stated that this field assessment serves as an important momentum to evaluate and strengthen the academic quality of the Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir. The Faculty of Ushuluddin remains committed to continuously improving the quality of education, research, and academic services in order to produce graduates who are excellent, competitive, and capable of contributing to society.

In addition to document verification, the assessors also conducted interviews and discussions with faculty leaders, study program administrators, lecturers, administrative staff, students, alumni, and graduate users. The activity also involved representatives from the UPT Pustipanda and the UPT Central Library as part of the evaluation of academic facilities support and campus information systems.

Through the implementation of this field assessment, it is hoped that the Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir of the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta will achieve the best results and further strengthen its position as a leading study program in Qur’anic and Tafsir studies in Indonesia.
