FU Interfaith Run Enlivens the 63rd Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Ushuluddin
Jakarta, FU Online News — In commemoration of its 63rd Anniversary, the Faculty of Ushuluddin of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta organized a series of activities under the theme Gebyar Milad FU 2025, reflecting strong values of togetherness, achievement, and social concern.
One of the main highlights of the celebration was the FU Interfaith Run 2025, themed “Run for Peace and Health,” which took place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the courtyard of the Faculty of Ushuluddin. This event marked the first Interfaith Run within State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) across Indonesia, symbolizing the spirit of peace, interfaith tolerance, and a healthy lifestyle among the academic community.

The event began at 06:00 a.m. WIB with a group warm-up session and was officially opened by the Vice Dean III, Dr. Aktobi Ghozali, MA, accompanied by the Vice Dean II, Dr. Lilik Ummi Kaltsum, M.A. In his remarks, Dr. Aktobi emphasized that the activity represented a balance between spirituality and physical health, as well as a form of synergy among students, lecturers, alumni, and the surrounding community.
Ali Taufan Dwi Saputra, M.Ag., Chairperson of the 63rd Anniversary Committee of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, stated that the Interfaith Run and various competitions held during the celebration were innovative approaches to commemorating the faculty’s anniversary.
“We aim to present an anniversary celebration that is not merely ceremonial, but also spreads the spirit of togetherness, health, and humanity,” he explained.
Participants were flagged off at 06:30 a.m. WIB to complete a 5-kilometer route, starting and finishing at the courtyard of the Faculty of Ushuluddin. Hundreds of participants joined enthusiastically. The first 50 finishers received medals, while the three fastest runners were awarded special prizes.
In addition to the run, the anniversary atmosphere was enlivened by a student culinary bazaar featuring a variety of food stalls. The bazaar provided a platform for students to express creativity, develop entrepreneurial skills, and strengthen interaction among members of the academic community in a relaxed and family-oriented setting.

Beyond the main prizes, all participants also had the opportunity to win attractive door prizes prepared by the committee. The event was supported by Le Minerale and Lazismu, whose contributions played an important role in the successful implementation of the activities.
Scholarship Grant Handover from IKALFU
As part of the anniversary series, a scholarship grant handover from the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Ushuluddin (IKALFU) to the Faculty of Ushuluddin was also conducted. The scholarship was directly presented by the Chairperson of IKALFU, Dr. Neng Dara Affiah, M.Si., as a form of alumni commitment and contribution to supporting education and student welfare.
The Faculty expressed its appreciation for the active role of alumni who continue to contribute to faculty development and the improvement of student quality.
