Faculty of Ushuluddin Leadership Reviews Building Construction Progress and Space Requirements

Jakarta, FU Online News — The leadership of the Faculty of Ushuluddin at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta inspected the progress of the faculty building construction on Thursday, 10 September 2026. The inspection was conducted to monitor the progress of the work and ensure that construction was proceeding in accordance with the established plans and targets.

The inspection was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, M.A., Ph.D.; Vice Dean II, Prof. Dr. Lilik Ummi Kaltsum, M.A.; and Vice Dean III, Dr. Aktobi Ghozali, M.A. Also present were Commitment-Making Officer (PPK) Arief Arianto Aryadi, S.Psi., representatives of the main contractor PT Mega Bintang Abadi, representatives of the construction management consultant PT Daya Cipta Dianrancana, and staff from the Faculty of Ushuluddin’s General Affairs Division.

According to the construction progress report presented at the 22nd Weekly Meeting, covering the period from 3 to 9 September 2026, cumulative construction progress had reached 59.011 percent, exceeding the planned cumulative target of 56.810 percent. This achievement represents a positive deviation of 2.201 percentage points from the established schedule.

In addition to monitoring construction progress, the delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the location, number, and allocation of rooms in the building under construction. The inspection aimed to ensure that the layout and number of rooms corresponded to the Faculty of Ushuluddin’s actual needs, including facilities for faculty leadership, study programs, lecturers, educational staff, and supporting spaces for academic and administrative activities.

The inspection also formed part of an evaluation to determine whether the planned allocation of space would adequately accommodate the needs of each work unit in a balanced and proportionate manner. Accordingly, the new building is expected not only to meet physical and construction standards but also to provide a functional and efficient layout that supports the faculty’s operations once construction is complete.

The inspection also served as a coordination forum for the faculty, the PPK, the main contractor, and the construction management consultant to evaluate progress on site. This coordination is essential to ensuring that every stage of construction proceeds according to plan while maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and complying with the established technical specifications.

The Faculty of Ushuluddin building is being constructed at Campus 2 of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, on Jalan Kertamukti, Ciputat. The project is being carried out by PT Mega Bintang Abadi, with construction supervision provided by PT Daya Cipta Dianrancana. The construction contract was signed on 8 April 2026, with a contract value of IDR 65,099,096,054 and a construction period extending through 31 December 2026.

Through regular inspections and ongoing coordination, the Faculty of Ushuluddin hopes that construction will be completed on schedule and in accordance with the established quality standards and specifications. The new building is expected to provide more representative facilities, optimize space utilization, and improve the quality of academic and administrative services for the entire academic community of the Faculty of Ushuluddin at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
