Jakarta, FU Online News — The leadership of the Faculty of Ushuluddin at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta inspected the progress of the faculty building construction on Thursday, September 10, 2026. The visit aimed to monitor the development of the construction work and ensure that its implementation remained on track in accordance with the established plans and targets.
The inspection was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, M.A., Ph.D.; Vice Dean II, Prof. Dr. Lilik Ummi Kaltsum, M.A.; and Vice Dean III, Dr. Aktobi Ghozali, M.A. Also present were Commitment-Making Official (PPK) Arief Arianto Aryadi, representatives of the construction contractor PT Mega Bintang Abadi, representatives of the construction management consultant PT Daya Cipta Dianrancana, and staff from the faculty's General Affairs Division.
According to the construction progress report presented at the 22nd Weekly Meeting for the period of September 3–9, 2026, cumulative construction progress had reached 59.011 percent, exceeding the planned cumulative target of 56.810 percent. This represented a positive deviation of 2.201 percentage points above the established target.
In addition to monitoring construction progress, the delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the locations, number, and allocation of rooms in the building under construction. The inspection aimed to ensure that the room layout and quantity met the Faculty of Ushuluddin's actual needs, including offices for faculty leadership, study programs, lecturers, administrative staff, and facilities supporting academic and administrative activities.
The inspection also served to evaluate whether the planned allocation of space adequately accommodated the needs of each work unit. Accordingly, the new building is expected not only to meet construction and physical infrastructure standards but also to provide a functional and efficient layout that supports the faculty's operations once construction is completed.
The visit also provided an opportunity for coordination among the faculty leadership, the Commitment-Making Official, the construction contractor, and the construction management consultant to evaluate developments on-site. Such coordination is essential to ensuring that every stage of construction proceeds according to plan while maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and complying with the established technical specifications.
The Faculty of Ushuluddin building is located at Campus 2 of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Jalan Kertamukti, Ciputat. The project is being carried out by PT Mega Bintang Abadi, with construction management supervision provided by PT Daya Cipta Dianrancana. The construction contract was signed on April 8, 2026, with a contract value of IDR 65,099,096,054 and a construction period running through December 31, 2026.
Through ongoing inspections and coordination, the Faculty of Ushuluddin hopes that construction will be completed on schedule while meeting the required quality standards and technical specifications. The new building is expected to provide more representative facilities, optimize the use of space, and improve academic and administrative services for the entire academic community of the Faculty of Ushuluddin at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
