Faculty of Ushuluddin Interviews 81 Applicants for Achievement and BLU Scholarship Admission Pathways

 

Jakarta, FU Online News – The Faculty of Ushuluddin at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta conducted the Interview Examination for the Independent Non-Regular Student Admission Selection (SPMB) through the Achievement Track and Public Service Agency (BLU) Scholarship Track on Monday (June 8, 2026) via Zoom Meeting. Held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (WIB), the activity constituted an important stage in the admission process for prospective undergraduate (S1) students for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

A total of 81 applicants participated in the interview selection, consisting of 18 candidates from the Achievement Track and 63 candidates from the BLU Scholarship Track. Through this process, the Faculty of Ushuluddin seeks to recruit prospective students who possess not only strong academic achievements but also religious competence, language proficiency, and high learning motivation as essential foundations for higher education.

The selection process was conducted under the direction of the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, M.A., Ph.D., assisted by Dr. Eva Nugraha, M.A., Dr. Lilik Ummi Kaltsum, M.A., Dr. Aktobi Ghozali, M.A., and Farida Andriani, S.E., M.M. Meanwhile, Dr. Abdul Hakim Wahid, M.A. served as the person in charge of the activity, supported by a committee consisting of lecturers and administrative staff of the Faculty of Ushuluddin.

During the interviews, applicants were assessed by a panel of examiners comprising Dr. Hj. Ala’i Nadjib, M.A., Dr. Bustamin, M.Si., Syarifah Rusydah, M.Ag., Ph.D., Fahrizal Mahdi, Lc., MIRKH, Muh. Yiddin, S.Ag., M.Th.I., Dra. Banun Binaningrum, M.Pd., Dr. Rifqi Muhammad Fatkhi, M.A., Uus Syaripudin, M.A., Moh. Anwar Syarifuddin, M.A., Dr. Taufik, M.Si., and Syaiful Azmi, S.Ag., M.A.

The interview examination was conducted based on technical guidelines aimed at mapping the academic and religious competencies of prospective students, identifying their potential, achievements, and learning motivation, and determining the academic support and student development programs needed throughout their studies.

The assessment covered Qur’anic reading and memorization skills, Arabic proficiency, English proficiency, basic Islamic knowledge, as well as applicants’ achievements, learning motivation, and personal potential. Each component carried a specific weight to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the applicants’ readiness to pursue their studies at the Faculty of Ushuluddin.

The Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, M.A., Ph.D., emphasized that this selection process reflects the faculty’s commitment to nurturing students who are excellent, ethical, and dedicated to academic development. Through the Achievement and BLU Scholarship pathways, the Faculty of Ushuluddin offers broader opportunities for talented young individuals to access quality higher education.

The interview process was conducted smoothly and orderly. The participants demonstrated great enthusiasm and seriousness throughout every stage of the selection. The Faculty of Ushuluddin hopes that this process will identify outstanding prospective students who will contribute to the advancement of Islamic studies, humanity, and society at large.
