Jakarta, FU Online News – The Faculty of Ushuluddin at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held its 140th Graduation Validation Ceremony (Yudisium) and Graduation Farewell Event on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. WIB at the Theater Room, 4th Floor, Faculty of Ushuluddin. The event was attended by members of the faculty leadership, heads of study programs, secretaries of study programs, administrative staff, and prospective graduates.

A total of 100 students participated in the yudisium ceremony, representing six study programs within the Faculty of Ushuluddin: 15 students from the Department of Religious Studies, 10 from Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy, 33 from Qur’anic Studies and Exegesis, 19 from Hadith Studies, 15 from Sufism Studies, and 8 from the Master’s Program in Qur’anic Studies and Exegesis.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Ushuluddin presented awards to the top academic graduates from each study program. The recipients were Wildan Ali Chasan from the Department of Religious Studies with a GPA of 3.79, M. Hakim Muhyiddin from Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy with a GPA of 3.82, Anandhia Claudy Thasya from Qur’anic Studies and Exegesis with a GPA of 3.97, Fadil Mohamad from Hadith Studies with a GPA of 3.79, and Shinta Atiyah Maula from Sufism Studies with a GPA of 3.98. All award recipients graduated with the distinction of Cum Laude.

In addition to academic awards, the faculty also recognized graduates for outstanding non-academic achievements, honoring those who had demonstrated excellence and contributed significantly in various competitions and activities at local, national, and international levels. The award recipients included Aida Samrotul Puadah, Ahmad Nelson, Alfan Rivera, Anandhia Claudy Thasya, Aulia Raudhatul Jannah, M. Ibnu Maidanu, Muswita, Nada Nur Afifah, Salsabilla Safitri, Syifa Fauziah Umami, and Uslifatul Jannah.

The yudisium ceremony was conducted solemnly and with great pride. This moment marked the completion of the students’ academic journey and the beginning of their service to society. The faculty expressed its hope that the graduates would uphold the good name of their alma mater while continuing to develop their knowledge and social contributions in various fields.

The event concluded with remarks from an alumna representative, Ayu Alfiah Jonas, who works as a writer and editor. In her message, she encouraged the graduates to maintain the tradition of reading as an essential part of broadening perspectives and cultivating clear thinking.

“Remain consistent in reading books, because reading helps preserve the clarity of our thinking. Reading is the simplest form of political action. We must continually challenge and motivate ourselves through reading,” she said before the yudisium participants.

Through this event, the Faculty of Ushuluddin reaffirmed its commitment to producing graduates who excel academically, actively achieve in non-academic fields, and possess a strong spirit of literacy and intellectual contribution to society.
