Faculty of Ushuluddin Holds the 137th Graduation Ceremony: Producing Excellent Undergraduate and Master Graduates
Jakarta, FU Online News – The Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held its 137th Yudisium and Graduation Ceremony on Thursday (August 21, 2025) at the 4th Floor Theater Room. The event, which took place from 1:00 to 4:30 PM WIB, was attended by faculty leaders, heads and secretaries of study programs, as well as lecturers and academic staff.
Among those present were the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin Prof. Ismatu Ropi, M.A., Ph.D, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Eva Nugraha, M.Ag, Vice Dean for General Administration Dr. Lilik Ummi Kaltsum, M.A, and Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation Dr. Aktobi Ghozali, M.A.. Heads and secretaries of study programs also attended to honor and support the students as they prepared to graduate.
162 Graduates from 8 Study Programs
In this yudisium, the Faculty of Ushuluddin released 162 graduates from eight study programs, both undergraduate (S1) and postgraduate (S2), with the following details:

Best Graduates of the Faculty
Two students were recognized as the Best Graduates of the Faculty for the 137th Graduation Ceremony:

Luluk Dwi Masruroh (Qur’anic Interpretation, S1) with a GPA of 3.95, Cum Laude. Thesis: “Hubbuddunyâ in the Thought of Tgkh Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid.”

Fajrur Rahman (Master of Comparative Religion, S2) with a GPA of 3.76, Cum Laude. Thesis: “A Comparative Study of Spiritual Therapy at Pesantren Jagat ‘Arsy and Wihara Ekayana Serpong in Coping with Stress among Generation Z.”

Dean’s Message
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi, expressed his appreciation to the students for completing their studies. He emphasized the importance of integrity and service to society after higher education.
“This academic achievement is only the beginning. Our graduates are expected not only to excel intellectually but also to serve as moral and social role models in the community,” he said.
Closing
The event concluded with a joint prayer, followed by a photo session between graduates and faculty leaders. Through this yudisium and graduation ceremony, the Faculty of Ushuluddin reaffirms its commitment to producing graduates at both undergraduate and master levels who are competitive, have integrity, and can contribute meaningfully to the nation and global civilization.
