Digital Administration Transformation: Faculty of Ushuluddin Discusses the Optimization of PLO

Jakarta, FU Online News — The Faculty of Ushuluddin at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held an activity entitled Optimization of the Use of Paper Less Office (PLO) of UIN Jakarta in Office Administration on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the 4th Floor Meeting Room. The event featured the PUSTIPANDA Team of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as speakers and was attended by members of the Dean’s Office, Heads of Study Programs, Secretaries of Study Programs, and Administrative Staff.

This activity was conducted as part of the Faculty’s commitment to promoting digital administrative transformation and strengthening system-based office governance. The implementation of Paper Less Office (PLO) is expected to enhance efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in document management and disposition workflows within the Faculty.

In their presentation, the PUSTIPANDA Team explained that PLO was designed as an administrative digitalization system to minimize paper usage and accelerate service processes through an integrated mechanism. However, during the discussion and evaluation session, participants conveyed several notes based on their experiences using the system at the faculty level.

Some of the identified challenges included disposition and archiving workflows that are not yet fully systematic, processes that still require additional manual steps, and a user interface considered less user-friendly, especially for new users. In addition, notification and document tracking features have not functioned optimally, integration with academic and personnel systems remains limited, and there is still potential duplication between digital and manual processes.

In response to the feedback, the PUSTIPANDA Team stated that the PLO system is still under development and will continue to be improved gradually. All input from the Faculty of Ushuluddin will serve as evaluation material to enhance features, simplify workflows, and strengthen system integration.

As a follow-up, the Faculty will compile a list of technical issues and feature requirements to be formally submitted to PUSTIPANDA. Periodic monitoring and follow-up training after system updates were also agreed upon to ensure that the implementation of PLO truly supports modern, effective, and efficient administrative governance at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
