Ciputat, UIN Online News — The Career Center of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is once again holding its annual event, the Career Compass Expo (CCE) 2025. This event will take place from June 18-19, 2025, at UIN Jakarta Campus 1, coinciding with UIN Jakarta's 68th Anniversary.

Carrying the theme "Unlocking Career Doors: Your Future Starts Here," CCE 2025 is designed as a platform for career development and further studies for students and alumni, while also strengthening the relationship between academia and the professional world.

The Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., expressed his full appreciation for this year's CCE. He emphasized that this event is not just part of UIN Jakarta's 68th anniversary celebration but also a concrete manifestation of the university's commitment to expanding its role as a center for career acceleration and innovation.

"At 68 years old, UIN Jakarta continues to expand its role not only as a center of knowledge but also as a center for career acceleration and innovation. We appreciate the Career Center's initiative in organizing CCE 2025. This job fair is not just a formal ceremony, but a real bridge between the academic world and the professional world," he stated.

In line with this, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., conveyed that today's campuses can no longer function solely as ivory towers. According to him, CCE is an important moment to strengthen the synergy between campuses and the industrial sector.

"Campuses are no longer ivory towers. Through CCE, we encourage students to build their career future while still in college, with an applicative approach relevant to the needs of the times. Activities like this must continue to be strengthened, as they can bridge students with the real world, whether through professional work or entrepreneurial independence," he asserted.

Meanwhile, the Head of UIN Jakarta's Career Center, Mr. Muhammad Kholish Hamdy, S.Sos. I., MInt.Dev., emphasized that CCE is a concrete form of the institution's responsibility to address the needs and challenges of today's students.

"We want to emphasize that the job fair at UIN Jakarta is not just symbolic. We are bringing in companies that genuinely offer real job opportunities. The goal is for students to not only be ready to graduate but also ready to enter the workforce or even create their own job opportunities. CCE is concrete proof of how the campus truly responds to the challenges of the times and the needs of students," he concluded.

CCE 2025 is known to be more dynamic and applicable through three integrated main agendas. The Job Fair is one of the main attractions of this event. A total of 28 national and multinational companies are scheduled to attend the campus directly to open job opportunities for young job seekers. This proves that the UIN Jakarta job fair is not merely a ceremony or symbolic, but truly opens doors for students and alumni to explore the world of work in a tangible way.

In addition, CCE 2025 also holds a series of inspirational seminars under the Career Preparation agenda. In these sessions, participants will gain in-depth insights into job opportunities both domestically and abroad, as well as various information related to scholarships for further studies. This seminar serves as an important preparation for students to be more ready to compete in the competitive job market and global dynamic changes.

Adding to the vibrancy of the event, the Localpreneur Fest will also be held, a space for students and alumni to showcase and sell their business products through MSME booths.
