Capacity Building of the Faculty of Ushuluddin UIN Jakarta: Strengthening Collaboration and Enhancing SOPs and LMS
Bogor, FU Online News – The Faculty of Ushuluddin at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta organized a Capacity Building program held on 12–13 May 2026 at Ibis Hotel Resort Bogor. The activity was attended by faculty leaders, heads of study programs, administrative staff, and the academic community of the Faculty of Ushuluddin as an effort to strengthen institutional synergy, enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and reinforce the implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS).
The series of activities began with the participants’ departure from the UIN Jakarta campus to the venue using buses prepared by the committee. After registration and the official opening, the event continued with an Opening Ceremony hosted by Muria Khusnun Nisa, M.Ag. The opening session also included the singing of the Indonesian national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and the Hymn of UIN Jakarta, the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, and a collective prayer.
The program was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Prof. Ismatu Ropi. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of improving the capacity of human resources within the faculty to support professional, adaptive, and digitally based academic services.
During the first session, participants discussed the follow-up implementation of the LMS involving Heads of Undergraduate and Graduate Study Programs. In addition, representatives from Pustipanda attended as speakers to strengthen participants’ understanding regarding the management of digital learning systems within the university environment.
In the following session, the activities focused on reviewing and refining SOPs in various sectors, including academic affairs, finance, and general administration. Each division presented evaluations and developments of the SOPs that had been implemented in order to create a more effective and standardized administrative governance system.
In the evening, participants continued with intensive discussions related to the refinement of LMS and SOPs, divided into respective working groups. The discussions were interactive and collaborative, reflecting a shared commitment to improving the quality of services at the Faculty of Ushuluddin.
The second day of the program featured team-building activities, group exercises, and collaborative sessions aimed at strengthening relationships among members of the academic community. The event concluded with the ratification session of the finalized LMS and SOP outcomes developed throughout the program.
Through this Capacity Building program, the Faculty of Ushuluddin hopes to foster a stronger, more professional, and responsive work culture toward technological developments and the needs of higher education services in the digital era. This activity also served as an important momentum to strengthen inter-unit collaboration in supporting the vision of the Faculty of Ushuluddin as an excellent and competitive faculty.
