Bachelor of Islamic Creed and Philosophy
The bachelor in Islamic Creed and Philosophy (AF) was established in 1982 based on a decree issued by the Director General of Islamic Religious Institutional Development. This program was initially called as the Department of Philosophy, through the PMA 33 of 2016, and it was strengthened by the Decree of the Chancellor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Number: 487 of 2017, which changed the nomenclature into the bachelor in Islamic Creed and Islamic Philosophy (AFI). Now, the study program is accredited A. This undergraduate program addresses the needs for academics who are well trained and competent in the fields of Islamic faith and philosophy. The bachelor in Islamic Creed and Islamic Philosophy has been educating and training thinkers and scholars who play some roles in developing various discourses of thoughts in Indonesia, as well as leaders and practitioners which deal with many problems in society. Therefore, the vision, missions and curriculum of the bachelor in Islamic Creed and Islamic Philosophy address the interests of internal and external stakeholders.
Excel in the field of Islamic Kalam and Philosophy by integrating Islam, science, and Indonesian-ness in realizing a civil society.
Carrying out teaching, education and research in the field of Kalam and Islamic Philosophy in Islam, science and Indonesian-ness by increasing the quantity and quality of research, increasing cooperation with intra and extra university institutions and increasing community service.
To produce religious scholars who master and develop the study of Islamic Kalam and Philosophy and are able to provide theological and philosophical solutions to Islamic, scientific and Indonesian problems.
The main profile of graduates of the Islamic Creed and Philosophy Study Program is as religious thinkers, Religious Problem Analysts and research assistants in the field of Philosophy and socio-religious studies who have good character, are knowledgeable and up-to-date in their fields and are able to carry out tasks and responsibilities based on Islamic teachings and ethics, science and expertise.
The bachelor in Islamic Creed and Philosophy (AF) offers academic and professional education with the aim of producing human resources who are experts in the field of Islamic Aqidah and Philosophy. In addition to the Islamic Creed and Philosophy, AF offers general scientific education and teaching while still prioritizing Islamic values. Laboratory
The Faculty of Ushuluddin Laboratory is an Educational Laboratory used for various practical activities, research and student studies. There are various types of equipment that are very supportive for practical work. With the fairly complete equipment in this educational laboratory, each student can use the equipment facilities during the practical work. This laboratory has a very large place, so students will be very comfortable when taking part in practical work. Library
The library is the heart of the university that functions as a supporter of the movement and academic dynamics of the university. The library is tasked with providing, managing and distributing information for educational, research and community service purposes. The Ushuluddin Faculty Library as a learning center continues to develop both in quality and quantity in order to provide excellent service. Until now, the library has a printed and electronic collection of more than 6697 titles consisting of e-books, journals, theses, and others. The fields of medicine and health sciences and Islam.
